Storm Trooper Hoodies from Marc Ecko

Woah freaky! New limited edition Star Wars hoodies from Marc Ecko are really cool. They are available in both Storm Trooper and Boba Fett. The Storm Trooper one has a hood that closes all the way up to look like their mask. I don’t know how you can see out of it with the hood closed but practicality and fashion are often mutually exclusive anyway. They’re not cheap at , but if you consider it to be both a sweatshirt AND a Halloween costume, maybe you can make the numbers work.

Pac-Man Inspired Seating Options

Italian company Qayot has created the Poufman line of Pac-Man inspired seating (if Pac-Man wasn’t yellow and he chewed on square dots and he was made in Italy and not Japan). They sort of look like odd-shaped ottomans or stools. Probably not the most comfortable of seating, but you can arrange them in some interesting ways to create a nice visual. Just watch out for the Ghost Chair.

192 GB Wearable Pendant Flash Drive

Is that 192 GB of storage around your neck or are you just happy to see me? This new wearable jewelry pendant hard drive thing from Gresso is really sweet looking. It’s actually composed of three small flash drives, encased in exotic wood, that link up together to form a pendant you can wear around your neck. Sort of like a Voltron or Thundercats of flash drives if you will. The pendant has real diamonds on it, 18k gold, and the wood is a 200 year old African hardwood. They are only making 99 of them and Gresso has priced it accordingly at nearly ,000.
Solar Light Cap Charges During Day, Lights at Night

The solar powered cap from ThinkGeek looks just like a normal baseball cap but it has some neat tricks up it’s sleeve (or brim if you will). On the top is a solar panel that receives the sun’s rays during the day and in turn charges a battery that will power up the two integrated LED spotlights under the brim of the cap.
The electronics are all enclosed in a waterproof housing. Just 2 hours of daylight will charge the lights for 2-18 hours of use and at full charge it can run for 36 hours. There’s a button on the brim that controls brightness level or sets the optional flashing “SOS” mode. The solar light cap is really an ideal camping, fishing or hiking accessory; if you’re going to be walking in the sun all day, you might as well put it to good use.

Working V8 Engine Made of Legos

I don’t know if it’s really considered “working” as much as “moving in a working like fashion” but someone has created a realistic looking 32 valve V8 engine entirely of Legos (as realistic as an engine made of Legos can be expected to be, anyway). Apparently it took four months to build, which is longer than it would take to build a real engine. Here’s a video of it in action below.. somehow it just doesn’t quite have the same purr as a real V8 engine..
